I make and manipulate sounds.
During the week, I work with a small team of creative people at Antfood Music & Sound Design in Brooklyn, NY. We produce audio for commercials, short films, and interactive installations.
I also make records with my friends and play drums with Quartet Bakia, a group that improvises live scores to silent films.
a few highlights
- I volunteer for an organization called Building Beats, which is dedicated to teaching kids music production and entrepreneurial skills in New York City.
- I won an international mixing competition held by Sound on Sound Magazine and got to spend a day with Dave Pensado in Los Angeles.
- I travelled to Las Vegas to record the Mountain Dew Skate Team with a custom binaural audio rig for an interactive Virtual Reality experience.
- I helped produce music and sound design for a harrowing (and award winning) short film that brought attention to Childline, a child abuse hotline in the UK.
